Winning Authors “Triple The Thrills” With An Author Panel
July 6th 2010 @ 6:30pm
@ Mohegan Sun, The Cabaret Theatre
Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors presents a very unique event with renowned authors Steve Martini, Kate White and Noah Boyd on July 6th. The event begins in The Cabaret Theatre at 6:30pm, where there will be a special live discussion with all three authors followed by a book signing in The Shops at Mohegan Sun. Spin Street will have Steve Martini’s latest release entitled The Rule Of Nine: A Paul Madriani Novel, Kate White’s new thriller Hush and Noah Boyd’s suspense novel The Bricklayer all for purchase. The authors’ appearances in Mohegan Sun’s Winning Authors places them in a class that includes Harlan Coben, Sue Grafton, Nora Roberts, Robin Cook, Lee Child and John Saul.
Steve Martini has had numerous books on the New York Times Bestseller list, including Guardian of Lies, Shadow of Power, The Arraignment and The Jury. In his upcoming novel, due out June 1st and entitled The Rule of Nine, a terrorist plots what could be a crippling attack on the United States government. The protagonist, a San Diego defense attorney Paul Madriani, finds himself in the middle of a race against time trying to bring down this radical activist before it’s too late.
Kate White is a New York Times best-selling author who also happens to be the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine. She is the author of the fan favorite Bailey Weggins mystery series If Looks Could Kill, A Body to Die For and most recently Lethally Blond. Her most recent release Hush follows Lake Warren who is in the midst of a serious clash between her professional and personal life. It all comes crashing down when she gives into her attraction for a male co-worker and spends the night at his apartment, awakening to his dead body, killed in a gruesome, throat-slashing fashion. White artfully crafts the plot through a powerful, suspense-ridden tale that fully engages readers to the finish.
Noah Boyd is a former FBI agent and Vietnam veteran who took his experiences and turned them into a full-time writing career in 1993. He worked in the Detroit Bureau for twenty years, tracking down serial killers including the infamous Highland Park Strangler. In his latest thriller, The Bricklayer, Boyd takes readers on a riveting journey through the eyes of the rebellious, gutsy and wise FBI agent Steve Vail. His mission; track down a diabolical terrorist who has targeted enemies of the FBI. Vail has little concern for “rules & regulations” and becomes concerned with doing whatever needs to be done to solve his case.
Winning Authors is an experience offering an intimate and unique environment for book lovers. All events are free and open to the public of all ages. Books by featured authors will be available at the Spin Street store in The Shops at Mohegan Sun for purchase.
